I think a lot about how all of our families were working with plant medicine at some point - plants are the original medicine, and how we lost some of the language along the way…
I think about the power of ethnobotany storytelling.
A question that we often ask people is;
“as a child -what did your parents or caregivers give to you when you didn’t feel well” - the responses that we get are so interesting! Things someone might have thought of as silly or unimportant (ginger ale, Vicks vapor rub, chicken soup, aspirin, etc etc etc) become a link to ancestral medicine. These old practices are rooted in real herbal medicine. So many people think their family had no connection to plant medicine- but they absolutely did. Let’s remember….
I’ve felt compelled to create a little nest for us to explore folk practices and make herbal wintertide medicines….As you read thru the descriptions and details below - think about all of this medicine making being centered in storytelling!

Crafting Your Wintertide Apothecary
A three month online medicine making course.
September, October, November 2026.
Crafting Your Wintertide Apothecary an online 3 session course that will walk you step by step through making your own fire cider, oxymels, herbal honeys, herbal steams, and herbal syrups. This course will have you prepared to WINTER WELL in the dark months - we will be focusing on the immune system, respiratory system, and nervous system. We will meet online the first Sunday of each month (9:30am ET) These workshops will be recorded so that you can view them as often as you would like (recordings available as long as you are a Plants, Lore, & Magic Patreon subscriber)
Crafting Your Wintertide Apothecary is offered through our “Plants, Lore & Magic” Patreon membership - $16 per month. Just sign up on Patreon and you are in!

Three 1:1 sessions with me CUSTOMIZING your herbal medicines and practices- specifically for you and your unique body systems! Let’s get your custom home apothecary set for winter! We will create a beautiful path for you through the changing season - as you reclaim your ancestral medicine making, wisdom, and skill.
**for continuing clients, this is a great way to have a seasonal update to your current herbal protocol and practices!
***Each “Turning of the Wheel” path will look different- because each of you are so unique. Some paths will be focused on clinical herbal medicine and some will include wintertide rituals, and divination practices. This is NOT a one size fits all experience! Because I honor your uniqueness - the one-on-one sessions may include a delicious mix of; clinical herbal work, energywork, tarot, other divination, ancestral traditions, etc.
The TURNING OF THE WHEEL package is only offered for “Plants, Lore & Magic" (and of course the Give me Everything tier) on Patreon. The package price is $80 per monthly session for 3 months (total $240) + the Patreon membership.
